Good question.
How many successful athletes can you think of who have a coach, personal trainer, psychologist, the list goes on?
When they are at the top of their game, they have a variety of expertise around them, even whilst they are competing in their relevant discipline.
Yet when they are accredited for their efforts, it is rare for anyone to think its due to their coach or other form of support they have received. However, would they be as successful without it?
So, why is it; that these athletes need a coach? If they do make such a difference, then why do we not have the same thinking,
when we want to achieve something great?
To really be successful, would it make a difference if I had a coach? It is offen perspective and previous experience that prevents us thinking in this way.
Many friends of mine employ a Pertsonal Trainer to reach their health goals. So why do less, employ a life coach to achieve their life goals?
Many have not connected the two and therefore attempt their goals on their own. They later wonder why they haven't been able to maintain the motivation to continue, let alone achieve what they set out to do. This can bring disappointment, a feeling of failure and of self doubt.
